D2 INCHEON – SEOUL – MOKPO
Upon arrival in Incheon, we will commence our tour by visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace, the first royal palace constructed during the Joseon Dynasty. Renowned for its timeless beauty, this palace is a captivating destination throughout all seasons. Subsequently, we'll transfer to Mokpo via the KTX bullet train. Along the way, we'll pause for a photo stop at Mokpo Modern History Hall 1, formerly known as the Mokpo Japanese Consulate. This historic edifice, the oldest in Mokpo, bears witness to Korea's modern and contemporary narrative. Notably, it gained further acclaim as a filming site for the popular drama, Hotel Del Luna.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Sinan County. Upon arrival, you will be mesmerized by the uniqueness of the Sinan “Purple Islands”. Everything is purple here, from fields of purple flowers, purple roads, purple houses, purple bridges, and even purple-themed foods! Here we will visit the iconic Banwol Island, Moon Bridge and Purple Bridge. Next, explore Dongbu Traditional Market, which is the largest traditional market in Mokpo City. End your day by enjoying the sunset on the Mokpo Marine Cable Car where you can get a balanced view of mountains, sea, and city.

After breakfast, visit Seomjingang Gokseong Train Village, where you can enjoy listening to the blunt sound of a locomotive.
