Day 1 Singapore – Melbourne/Sydney – Hobart

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Hobart via Melbourne/Sydney.
Day 2 Hobart – Port Arthur – Hobart
(Meals On Board/Western Lunch/Western Dinner)
Upon arrival, prepare your tummy for a procession of tasty treats, beginning with a visit to Barilla Bay oyster farm, where you can learn more about the fascinating production process of oysters. Taste the freshness of succulent oysters at the end of your guided tour. Thereafter, travel to Tasman Peninsula and head to Port Arthur, widely regarded as Australia’s most intriguing historic site. Take a tour around the sprawling site for insights into the hardships endured by the convicts in the past. This will be followed by a cruise taking you past historic buildings and ruins set amongst beautiful gardens. Thereafter, return to Hobart to enjoy dinner at your hotel.
Note Travellers flying by Singapore Airlines will not be visiting Port Arthur.

Day 3 Hobart – Swansea – Bicheno – Swansea
(Breakfast/Western Dinner)
This morning, embark on a city tour of Hobart. Drive past heritage homes in Battery Point before making a stop at Salamanca Market to shop for food, souvenirs, clothes and accessories. Next, proceed to Tas Live Abalone for a factory tour to get an insight of the wild abalone industry and enjoy an abalone-tasting session. Next, visit Sorell Fruit Farm for a farm tour. During spring and summer, you may pick fruits and taste fruit wines. During other seasons, you will have the opportunity to shop for jams and other fruit products. Thereafter, check in to your accommodation in Swansea. In the evening, drive to Bicheno to experience a twilight penguin tour, in which you can witness fairy penguins embarking on their nightly ritual of returning ashore to their burrows.
Note Salamanca Market is open on Saturdays only. Sorell Fruit Farm is open from October to May and is closed during the winter months from June to September, and will be replaced with Coal River Farm.

Day 4 Swansea – Nabowla – Beauty Point – Tamar Valley – Launceston
(Breakfast/Western Dinner)
This morning, depart Swansea for Launceston. En route, make a stop at Bridestowe Lavender Estate, where you may shop for a wide range of lavender based products and souvenirs.  Next, travel north to Beauty Point for a guided tour of Seahorse World. Discover the fascinating world of the seahorses where males give birth, watch the breeding program and touch various marine life in the touch pool. Thereafter, visit Platypus House. This unique Tasmanian attraction is the only venue where visitors may watch Tasmanian platypuses in an indoor setting. Travel through the outskirts of Launceston to picturesque Tamar Valley. Make a quick stop to visit Grindelwald, a replica of a Swiss village. 

Day 5 Launceston – Cradle Mountain

Today, depart Launceston and head west to The Honey Farm to sample a wide variety of honey including Tasmania’s famous leatherwood honey and manuka, a unique honey with healing properties. Meet the famous Tasmanian Devil and other native wildlife at Trowunna Wildlife Park before continuing on to Cradle Mountain. Visit Dove Lake and take a short walk to the famous boat shed where you can enjoy remarkable views of Cradle Mountain. Tonight, spend a serene night at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania’s most popular wilderness destination.

Day 6 Cradle Mountain – Launceston
After breakfast, depart Cradle Mountain for Launceston and stop by Sheffield, also known as Town of Murals. Visit Ashgrove Cheese to view the production of this well– loved dairy product and savour different types of cheese including the delectable chilli cheese.  Then, proceed to Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company, where you may savour some award– winning jams and chutneys. Thereafter, visit the tranquil Cataract Gorge Reserve, a beautiful natural amphitheatre located in the heart of Launceston. You may take an optional 308-metre long chairlift ride at your own expense. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring and shopping in Launceston.

Day 7 Launceston – Melbourne
This morning, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Melbourne and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring and shopping in Melbourne.
Note Travellers taking an early morning flight will be provided with a packed breakfast.

Day 8 Melbourne – Singapore
(Breakfast/Meals On Board)
If time permits, you can do some last–minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
