Day 1 SINGAPORE – HANEDA/ NARITA – HAKODATE

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Hakodate via Haneda/Narita.
Day 2 HAKODATE
Start your day with a touch of history at the 150-year-old western-style Goryokaku Tower fort. From the Tower Observatory, you can see bird’s eye views of the city as well as the beautiful star-shaped fortress estate surrounded by lush greenery and cherry trees. Then, make your way to Hakodate Factory, where the red brick warehouses from the city’s trading past have been redeveloped into a chic waterfront dining, shopping and entertainment complex. For a perfect end to the day, proceed to the 334-metre high Mt Hakodate for spectacular panoramic views of the city.
Day 3 HAKODATE - LAKE TOYA
Today, visit Hakodate morning market where the delectable array of fresh seafood and local produce are guaranteed to whet your appetite. Next, proceed to see the picturesque lakes, islands and majestic dormant volcano Mount Komagatake at Onuma Quasi-National Park before heading to mesmerizing Lake Toya. Located in the scenic Shikotsu-Toya National Park, this photographic freshwater caldera lake is 10km in diameter and framed by a few active volcanic domes including the majestic Mount Showa. Tonight, take a dip in a relaxing hot spring bath at an onsen resort in Lake Toya.
Day 4 LAKE TOYA – NOBORIBETSU – JOZANKEI/OTARU
This morning, “grin and bear it” literally at the Showa Sinzan Bear Ranch as the facility’s bevy of adorable bears wave and greet you upon arrival. Photograph and feed these furry animals at your own expense. After the cuteness overload, stock up on popular local skincare products made from horse oil at the souvenir shop. Thereafter, go back in time and immerse yourself in ancient Japan at Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, a theme park dedicated to the Edo era complete with the fabled samurai, townspeople and the occasional courtesan. Your day will reach a boiling point as you traipse through the sulphurous valley to experience boiling ponds and steaming streams at the famous Jigokudani, also known as Hell Valley.
Enjoy picking and tasting of strawberries in June, cherries in July, peaches in August and corn in September.
Day 5 JOZANKEI/OTARU – SAPPORO
After breakfast, take a leisurely drive to the charming Otaru Canal which is lined with century-old stone warehouses on both sides. Then, get whimsical at Otaru Music Box Museum where displays of beautifully-crafted music boxes will delight even the grumpiest of cynics. Make a stop at Kitaichi Glass Factory to witness skilled artisans perfect their craft followed by the Ishiya Chocolate Factory to see how quality confectionary and Japan’s finest sweets and chocolates are made. Don’t feel shy to indulge in those tasty samples and buy some home for your loved ones! Next, head to Mitsui Outlet Sapporo Kitahiroshima for some retail therapy and take your pick from the wide range of domestic and imported brand items available. After that, admire the charming assembly of monumental fountains, sculptures and flowerbeds in Odori Park right in the heart of Sapporo city.Round off the day with a stroll along Hokkaido’s longest shopping street, Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade.
Day 6 SAPPORO
Today, explore Sapporo at your own pace. You may want to visit Mt. Moiwa, once regarded as a sacred mountain by locals and still popular among locals and tourists alike today. Ride in the “Morris Car”, the first drive-type mini cable car in the world from the mid way point to the summit where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Sapporo, Ishikari Bay Shokanbetsu Peak and the surrounding mountain range.
Day 7 SAPPORO
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Sapporo at leisure. You could drop by the Sapporo Beer Museum to learn all about one of Japan’s oldest and most popular beers, and of course, sample the beers available. If you prefer to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, Maruyama Park may be an ideal destination. Surrounded by forested hills, the park hosts various family-friendly playgrounds, open fields as well as the Maruyama Zoo, one of the most nature-oriented zoos in Japan.
Day 8 SAPPORO – NARITA/HANEDA – SINGAPORE

If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping you transfer to the airport for your flight home via Haneda/Narita.
