ITINERARY
DAY 1: Singapore - Wellington
  • Your vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to Wellington, the capital of New Zealand.

DAY 2: Wellington
  • Wellington City Sightseeing – drive past Parliament House, Oriental Bay and Mt Victoria Lookout.
Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 3: Wellington
  • Weta Workshop – see how a film’s creative process unfolds and watch the collaboration between multi-skilled artists and craftsmen at work as they create fascinating movie effects with exclusive props and costumes. You will also get to see authentic prop replicas and collectibles from famous movies such as “Avatar”, “Lord of the Rings”, “The Hobbit” and “King Kong” at the Weta Caves Workshop Tour.
  • Wellington Cable CarRide (one-way) – enjoy the great city view from the lookout.
  • Wellington Botanic Garden – which offers over 25 hectares of specialist plant collections, protected native forest areas.
  • Te Papa Museum – encounter Maori and Pacific cultural treasure, New Zealand’s extraordinary natural life, its most important works of art and its unique history. Get shaken up in the Earthquake House or come face-to-face with a colossal squid and then explore its life through 3D animation.
  • Zealandia – a ground-breaking and community-driven ecological restoration project, now home to some of the rare native species of New Zealand.

DAY 4: Wellington - Queenstown
  • Take the domestic flight to Queenstown.
  • Queenstown - New Zealand’s top visiting region surrounded by the snow-capped mountain ranges and set on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu. Queenstown is the adventure paradise for thrill-seekers.
  • TSS Earnslaw Vintage Steamship - take in the magnificent alpine scenery cruising on the beautiful Lake Wakatipu on board the historic vintage steamship. Visit the engine room and see the giant steam engines at work; view the collection of historical photos.
  • Walter Peak High Country Farm - for an interactive walking tour of the farmyard. Help feed the sheep and deer; watch a shearing display and see sheep dogs in action.
  • Enjoy a delectable lobster seafood dinner.
Note: During the annual survey period from late May to early July (subject to change) TSS Earnslaw is out of service. Transfer to/from Walter Peak High Country Farm will be replaced by a launch (smaller boats). If you are taking an early morning flight, packed breakfast will be provided.

DAY 5: Queenstown

DAY 6: Queenstown - Mt Cook National Park
  • Kawarau Bridge Bungy Lookout - the world’s first-ever commercial bungy jump situated along the picturesque Kawarau River
  • Ladybird Hill Salmon Fishing – for a go at salmon fishing and taste your freshly caught salmon, prepared in the form of sashimi and paired with wines.
  • Lake Pukaki – photo stop with the picturesque backdrop of Mt Cook.
  • Mount Cook National Park – the highest peak in New Zealand with 3,754 metres height.

DAY 7: Mt Cook - Lake Tekapo - Christchurch
  • Lake Tekapo – visit the iconic landmark of the Church of the Good Shepherd. This church was built to the glory of God as a memorial to the pioneers of the Mackenzie Country.
  • Christchurch City Sightseeing –drive past Christchurch Botanic Garden, Canterbury Museum and Transitional Cardboard Cathedral.

DAY 8: Christchurch - Singapore
  • Transfer to the Christchurch Airport for flight home.
