DAY 1: Singapore — Yinchuan
Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight via Chengdu to Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Lying west of the Yellow River, Yinchuan is a multi-national city including Han, Hui & Manchu peoples. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for night stay.

DAY 2: Yinchuan — Zhenbei West Film Studio — Helanshan Rock Carvings
Today, we will go to the Zhenbei West Film Studio which has a primitive, wild and desolate style, and is the place where classic films such as Zhang Yimou's career-launching, Red Sorghum, New Dragon Inn and Talk on the Journey to the West were filmed at. Around the hillsides of Helanshan, 40km or more off Yinchuan City, there are tens of thousands of rock carvings by ancient nomadic tribes, which are known as the Helanshan Rock Carvings (tram cart included). Lastly you will visit the Axis of Sino-Arab Friendship.

DAY 3: Yinchuan — Western Xia Imperial Tomb — 108 Pagodas — Zhongwei
After breakfast, visit the Western Xia Imperial Tomb. West Xia Kingdom (1038-1227) was once a powerful kingdom, with its capital in Yinchuan sheltered by Mt. Helan imperial forests. This relic is called, the Oriental Pyramids, by foreign tourists. The next highlight is the famous 108 Pagodas near Qingtongxia Gorge Scenic Area. The pagodas are arranged in an odd order, 12 rows from top to bottom in accordance with the topography and which forms a huge equilateral triangle with 108 pagodas in all. Then coach to Zhongwei.

DAY 4: Zhongwei—Shapotou—Zhongwei
Zhongwei City lies in west-central Ningxia Province, bordered by Gansu Province to the west and Inner Mongolia to the north. Shapotou Tourism Area is regarded as one of the five most beautiful deserts in China, and is widely recognized as the Capital of Sand, where the Yellow River flows. It is an amazing place where the desert, grasslands and the Yellow River meet. After that coach to Tonghu Grassland. Tonight enjoy the Campfire Party at own expense (*Campfire Party depends on weather conditions.)

DAY 5: Zhongwei — Guyuan:Mount Sumeru Grottoes, Huoshizhai
After breakfast, head for Guyuan for a visit to Mount Sumeru Grottoes, one of the ten most famous grottoes in China. Unlike Longmen and Yungang Grottoes which were built in the high cliffs to offer visitors a panoramic view, Mount Sumeru Grottoes were built along the contour of the mountains. Located in the northeast of Xiji County, Huoshizhai National Geopark is one of the third batch of the national geoparks in China. As an extending branch of Liupan Mountain Range, Huoshizhai is famous for its unique Danxia landform.

DAY 6: Guyuan — Yinchuan: Shuidonggou Site, Pedestrian Street
After breakfast, travel back to Yinchuan by coach. Visit the Shuidonggou Site, one of the earliest sites found in China belonging to the Paleolithic Age. This amazing historical site is like a theme park with tram cart ride & donkey-drawn cart for you to experience. Next, sit back and enjoy a grand show at own expense before going to Pedestrian Street for your shopping spree.

DAY 7: Yinchuan: Sand Lake, Red Wolfberry Museum
Today, continue your tour to Sand Lake Scenic Resort (Shahu). Located in northwest China, this unique natural scenery harmonizes both the desert and the world of water is one of the best places for bird watching. You will take a boat ride on the lake. After that, proceed to Yinchuan Red Wolfberry Museum where you can know more about the Ningxia Goji Berry. Next highlight is the China Hui Culture Palace, the only theme park in China that displays ethnic Hui culture, religion, and traditions, dances, songs and food etc. Tonight, you will enjoy the farewell dinner served with multi-layered cakes, wine, and entertainment which will leave us with an unforgettable memories.

DAY 8: Yinchuan — Singapore
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight via Chengdu back to Singapore. We hope you have enjoyed your trip with CTC Travel.
