ITINERARY
DAY 1: Singapore - Yangon

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Yangon - a former capital of Myanmar. Upon arrival, head to china town to visit Kwan Yin Temple established about 170 years ago and Kheng Hock Keong Temple: Hokkien temple. Former Myanmar Railways Headquarters, constructed in 1896, the original Burma Railways building remains an imposing—but impressive—nod to the nation’s colonial heritage. Its distinctive Victorian architecture incorporates Gothic details and local materials, making it a truly unique structure in the heart of the city. (Lunch will be provided if arrive in morning and to visit White Elephant Park).

DAY 2: Yangon - Bagan
Early breakfast at hotel and then transfer to airport for your domestic flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, Visit the Shwezigon Pagoda, where 37 pre-Buddhist 'nets' were first officially endorsed by the Barmar monarchy. The 12th century originals are believed to be now in Italy. Continue to visit the Ananda Phaya one of the most beautiful temples in Bagan, a whitewashed masterpiece with symmetry and Mon architecture. Then proceed to Gubyaukgyi Temple, it is in an Indian style, the monument consists of a large shrine room attached to a smaller antechamber. The fine stuccowork on its exterior walls is in particularly good condition. Continue the journey to the Thatbinnyu Temple, 60 metres high and located in a central position is a fine building from 1113-1160. Dhammayangyi Pahto Temple, which is the largest temple at Bagan, enjoying your leisure time by taking a horse and cart. Later in the afternoon, view the sunset from Shwe Sandaw Pagoda, said to be the first monument built by King Anawrahta after his conquest of Thaton and the Mons in 1057. Proceed to a local restaurant for dinner then back to the hotel. Have dinner with the traditional puppet show entertainment.

DAY 3: Bagan - Mandalay
Morning take domestic flight to Mandalay, the second-largest city and the last royal capital of Myanmar. First to visit U-Bein Bridge, 1.2 km long and is built over Taung Thaman Lake. Continue to visit Mandalay Fort & Mandalay Royal Palace - the last palace built by the Burmese Royals where the last Burmese king lived. In the large complex are dozens of buildings including audience halls, throne halls, a monastery, a watch tower, a court building, a tooth relic building and a library where the Buddhist scriptures were kept. Onwards to visit the Shwenandaw Monastery, one of the more fragile yet grand 19th century wooden monastery building in the country. It was used as part of the Mandalay Royal Palace and was completely gilded. Proceed to the Kuthodaw Pagoda where the world's largest book stands. View the sunset from Mandalay Hill.

DAY 4: Mandalay
After breakfast, visit the Mahamyatmuni Pagoda built by King Bodawpaya in 1784. Continue to visit the Mahagandayon Monastery to learn about the daily life of the monks in Myanmar. Drive past the Marble Workshop and stop at the Gold Leaf Beating workshop. A delightful boat trip to Mingun Paya where the world largest ringing bell awaits you. Mya Thein Tan Pagoda is also known as Hsinbyume Pagoda, built in 1816 by King Bagyidaw in memory of his favorite wife the Hsinbyume Princess. The seven terraces encircling the Pagoda represent the seven mountain ranges around the mythical Mt.

DAY 5: Mandalay - Heho
After breakfast, leave Mandalay for Heho by domestic flight and then drive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer by boat to start the sightseeing tour of Inle Lake including a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. There are also floating villages like Ywama, the lake’s downtown, where a floating market is held every five days. In the afternoon continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and Padaung tribe (long neck women) handicrafts thrive.

DAY 6: Heho - Yangon
After breakfast leave inle for Heho by coach and then transfer to Yangon by domestic flight. After lunch, begin Yangon half day sightseeing with visit to Kyauktawgyi Buddha Temple, which has the largest marble Buddha image in Burma; Kabar Aye Pagoda, in Myanmar means “World Peace” to which this pagoda is dedicated’ Chaukhtatgyi pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha; Buddha Tooth Pagoda & Bogyoke Aung San Park. See the Kandawgyi Royal Lake. Kandawgyi meaning "the great lake" in Myanmar, a well-known place in Yangon. Have the farewell buffet dinner on a hamsa-bird-shaped floating barge which is in the centerpiece of the lake and enjoy the ethnic dancing show.

DAY 7: Yangon
After hotel breakfast start your one day Yangon Cultural day tour immediately; first to visit Kyauktan Yele Pagoda - Floating Temple, it was built on an isle in the middle of a river, you will take ferry to there. Stop at coconut garden and enjoy a cool coconut juice and then continue your journey to The Botataung Pagoda, on the banks of the river in downtown Yangon is one of the city’s most highly revered temples. The 40 meter high golden pagoda enshrines a sacred hair relic of the Buddha. In the late afternoon to see Shwedagon Pagoda, the 2500-year-old pagoda with the golden stupa rising 98 meters from the base. The pagoda has become the most symbolic landmark of Myanmar.

DAY 8: Yangon - Singapore
Morning transfer to Bogyoke Aung San Mark, (also known as Scott Market) where local goods and products are sold at a bargain before proceed to airport for your flight back Singapore, we hope you have enjoyed your vacation with CTC travel!
