ITINERARY
Day 1 HOME→ LAUNCESTON (Meals on Board)

Assemble at the airport for your flight to Launceston, Tasmania’s second major city.

Day 2 LAUNCESTON (Lunch)
Upon your arrival, acquaint yourself with the Australia's oldest cities, one of the best-preserved early cityscapes in Australia with its elegant Colonial and Victorian architecture and century-old parks. Your first stop at Cataract Gorge, just a short distance from the city centre, it is a slice of wilderness right in the heart of town and Launceston's star natural attraction. Take a thrilling ride on the chairlift (one way) to observe the vegetation from above. Afterwards, visit to the Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company and sample their delicious range of locally made sauces, jams and conserves. Thereafter, check in to hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 3 LAUNCESTON → TAMAR VALLEY → LAUNCESTON (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Start your morning with a visit to Bridestowe Lavender Estate, producer of high-quality lavender since 1922. Learn about the history of the estate and treat yourself to some of its famous lavender ice-cream. The Hillwood Berry Farm is your next stop, pick some berries, sample some jam, quince, liqueur, wine or some of their beauty and relaxation products. Farther north is Beauty Point where you will enjoy the award-winning Seahorse World and Platypus House - the only place in Australia where visitors can watch the Tasmanian platypus up close. Finally, travel through the beautiful Tamar Valley and make a quick stop to Grindelwald, a replica of a Swiss village before heading back to the hotel. Note: Pick Your Own Berry is at own expenses, fruit picking start from November to mid-December only.

Day 4 LAUNCESTON → SHEFFIELD→ CRADLE MOUNTAIN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Depart from Launceston, head to Ashgrove Farm Cheese Factory to learn about the art of cheese making and taste some delicious produce. Call in at the Melita Honey Farm which literally buzzes with a multitude of bee products before you continue to through Sheffield, the ‘town of murals’ to arrive into Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park. Part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, Cradle mountain is one of the state's most special places, places, where ancient pines fringe glacial lakes and icy streams cascade down rugged mountains. Take a walk along the Dove Lake, one of Tasmania's most pristine walkway.

Day 5 CRADLE MOUNTAIN → BICHENO (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
This morning explore the inspiring beauty of Cradle Mountain at own leisure. Later journey to visit Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary and get up close with native Tasmanian wildlife, including species of wombats, quolls, echidnas, kangaroos, ducks, geese, and Tasmanian devils. Continue late in the day to Bicheno where tonight highlight is taking a guided Penguin Tours for a closer look at the life of the Little Penguins as they return nightly to their rookeries to feed their young. Note: You can expect to get very close to a penguin. Wear very warm clothing in winter and covered footwear – Penguins bite toes! Strictly no cameras permitted on tour.

Day 6 BICHENO → FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK → MT WELLINGTON → HOBART (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Get an early start for Freycinet National Park and walk up to the Wineglass Bay lookout to marvel at the famous curved bay with glitzing white sandy beach below. Continue further to historical Richmond village, one of Australia’s most unique and historic towns dating from the 1820s. Afterwards proceed to Tas Live Abalone Factory for tour and taste some freshly cooked abalone. Lastly, see the amazing panoramic view of Hobart and surroundings from the Mount Wellington lookout at 4170ft above sea level.

Day 7 HOBART (FREE DAY) (Breakfast)
Spend the morning at your own leisure. You may stroll through Salamanca Place and explore the colourful stalls of the bustling Salamanca Markets. Alternatively, you may join a day trip to Port Arthur Historic Site or Huon Valley at your own expenses. Note: Salamanca Market is held on Saturdays from 8.30am to 3.00pm only.
