Day 1
Welcome to a unique experience!  Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to to Munich, the buzzing Bavarian capital well-known for its charm

Day 2

  • Depart the airport for the city centre.
  • Munich orientation tour: Enter the city through the Medieval Gates, the first of the city’s fortifications.  Enjoy the bustle of the Viktualienmarkt, an open air market full of little stores selling wursts, fruits, flowers & cheese.  Admire the spires of the Gothic style City Hall, onion-shaped domes of the Frauenkirche and the unique architecture of the Olympic Park.
Day 3
  • Today we visit Bavaria’s oldest city and Germany’s second oldest, Augsburg
  • Augsburg walking tour:  Worthy sights from Augsburg’s prestigious history includes the opulent Rathaus with its breath-taking Golden Hall (subject to opening hours).  Learn about the unique housing project Fuggerei, the idyllic artist quarter and the grand palaces in Maximilian Street.
  • Next on the itinerary today is a visit to Albert Einstein’s birth city, Ulm.
  • Ulm walking tour: With the world’s tallest church tower, the Ulm Munster is definitely the most prominent landmark of the city.  Munsterplatz offers a great combination of historic and modern architecture.  Admire the elaborate murals on the exterior of the Rathaus before we move on the Fishermen Quarter with its half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets and picturesque footbridges.  Be amused by the Schiefes Haus Ulm (crooked house) and the Old Mint
Day 4
  • It is time for retail therapy as we drive to OutletCity in Metzingen where the brand Hugo Boss began in 1877.  Enjoy discounts off the many flagship stores located in this outlet centre.
  • Thereafter, proceed to the Black Forest which gets its name from the canopy of evergreens looming above the forest floor and home to elaborate cuckoo clocks.
  • Enjoy a typical pork knuckle dinner after we have an understanding of how cuckoo clocks works.
Day 5
  • Travel to Colmar, the famous wine centre of Alsace, France.  
  • Colmar walking tour: Stroll through the alleys and be charmed by the colourful houses and lively atmosphere of the city.  End the tour with a visit to Petite Venice and the Fishmonger’s District
Day 6
  • Look forward to a delightful day as we embark on a drive through France’s oldest wine route. The wine route winds its way through 170km of hills and vineyards and passes through close to 70 winegrowing villages.
  • A castle ruins dominates the skyline of Kaysersberg, the ‘Mountain of the Emperor’.  The main street is lined with half-timbered corbelled homes which date from the 15th and 16th centuries.  The Fortified Bridge from 1514 spans the Weiss River and armed with parapets and arrow slits for self-defence.
  • Riquewihr is often voted as the most beautiful village in Alsace.  Its main street is lined with Renaissance houses and framed with picturesque side alleys and courtyards.  Admire the Dolder, a 25m tower built in pink sandstone from the Vosges and erected the same time as the first fortification walls in the 13th century. 
  • Conclude this beautiful day in beautiful Strasbourg, the capital city of Alsace (now known as the Grand Est Region). 
  • Strasbourg city tour: Be awed by the Gothic grandeur of Strasbourg’s Cathedrale Notre-Dame from the filigree-like façade to flying buttresses, the leering gargoyles and the 142m spire.  Nearby is Petite France which eludes Alsatian charm, River Ill and the Barrage Vauban and the Ponts Couvents with their trio of 13th century towers.  
Day 7
  • Drive back to Germany and head for the University city of Heidelberg.
  • Enjoy a tour of the Heidelberg Castle sitting 70m above the Neckar River.  Together with the Old Bridge, it is amongst the most impressive sights in Germany.  Do not miss a visit to the famous wine cellar of the castle!
Day 8
Cross over the The Netherlands and continue to Utrecht, the lively heart of the country which boasts beautiful canals with extraordinary wharf cellars.
  • Utrecht walking tour: Walk through little cobbled streets all leading to the city’s main artery, the Oudegracht.  Walk through Zeven Steegjes, small houses on tiny cobbled streets before we end up at the pride and joy of the city, the Dom Church and its dominating tower. 
Day 9
  • Visit fairytale-like Giethoorn, famous for not having any roads.  Experience the village from the water as we board our whisper boat, the main mode of transportation.  Admire houses built on small islands and can only be reached by boats or bridges.
  • Spend some time visiting quaint shops and cafes before we make our way towards the impressive 20km long dike on the Ljsselmeer, one of Europe’s largest lakes, to Amsterdam.
  • Suggested optional tour: Visit the traditional fishing village of Volendam.
Day 10
  • Visit the world’s largest trading center for plants and flowers.  Breathe in the scents from millions of blossoms as we learn about the buying, selling and sorting of flowers.
  • The town of Gouda dates back to the Middle Ages when the Van der Goude family built a fortified castle along the banks of the Gouwe River.  Step back in time as we stroll along the cobbled streets of Gouda and discover its history.  Visit the Goudse Waag, a 17-century weighing house to sample the city’s famous produce – cheese!
Day 11
  • Amsterdam city tour: Begin with a drive to Dam Square.  See the Royal Palace, New Church and the National Monument before boarding the glass-domed waterbus for a canal cruise. Glide past stately canal houses, colourful houseboats, the seven arched bridges, the Dutch East Indies Company replica ship and much more.  End the cruise at a diamond-cutting factory. 
  • Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore the city.
Day 12

Bid farewell to Amsterdam as we transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore.
