Day 1: Singapore - Sydney

Arrive early at Singapore Changi International Airport Terminal 1 for your flight check-in and depart for Sydney!

Day 2: Sydney - Hunter Valley
Estimated distance: 220km / 3 hours

Upon arrival at Sydney International Airport, pick up your car from Hertz counter at the airport. Leaving Sydney in the morning, you’ll arrive in time for lunch in a wineyard restaurant in the Hunter Valley, then a scenic drive around the Hunter Region or visit the Hunter Valley Garden.

Day 3: Hunter Valley - Port Stephens
Estimated distance: 158km / 2 hours

Leaving the Hunter region, travel north-east to Port Stephens, to sparkling blue bays and white sandy beaches and home to 160 dolphins living in a pristine marine park. Join a daily dolphin watch cruise and meet some of the friendly population of bottlenose dolphins or join a kayak tour shopping at sandy beaches for a bush foods picnic.

Day 4: Port Stephens - Port Macquarie
Estimated distance: 188km / 2 hours

Leaving Port Stephens after breakfast, it’s a 2-hour drive with lots of fascinating stopevers along the way, Bulahdelah, the craft town and gateway to Myall Lakes or Wauchope’s Timbertown and onto Port Macquarie.

Port Macquarie is one of Australia’s best-loved holiday destinations with pristine waterways, 17 sandy beaches and rolling green hinterland. Enjoy this vibrant picturesque town on the Hastings River, for world-class venues, local cuisine, eco tours, deep-sea fishing and dolphin spotting.

Port Macquarie is also home to the world’s only Koala Hospital caring for over 300 koalas a year

Day 5: Port Macquarie - Coffs Harbour
Estimated distance: 160km / 2 hours

Start your morning early so that you can take your time on your journey to Coffs Coast where the mountain escarpments greet the sea. 

A great stopover is only a minute off the highway just after Port Macquarie - Ricardoes Tomatoes & Strawberries - a farm gate institution with something for all the family. Pick strawberries among trellised avenues in protected greenhouses, take a free farm tour at 11am weekdays, enjoy free tasting of award-winning Ricardoes preserves or indulge in a delicious tomato and strawberry inspired menu at Cafe Red. Plenty of parking for an easy stop to eat, rest and shop !

This journey offers something for everyone; World Heritage national parks, sandy beaches, islands and marine reserves, surf, rafting, camel rides and local markets. Your journey will take you through the Macleay Valley to the historic town of Bowraville then to nambucca heads where you can sample local oysters, avocados and macadamias.

Day 6: Coffs Harbour - Ballina - Byron Bay
Estimated distance: 240km / 3 hours

The drive to Ballina is approximately 2.5 hours from Coff Coast, thus leave early ! On route you can choose to visit the Clarence Valley home to one of the largest rivers in Australia.

With lush subtropical rainforest, 32 kilometres of pristine, sandy beaches and crystayl clear waterways, endless streams, lakes and estuaries nd the vast reaches of the Richmond River, the Ballina Coast and hinterland is truly a natural wonder. Away from the coast, the hinterland is punctuated with the villages of Alstonville, Newrybar, Tintenbar and Wardell, where you’ll find wonderful country pubs and galleries and shops filled with exquisite local arts, crafts and fresh produce. your journey to Ballina, the jewel of the Northern Rivers of NSW will take in beautiful beaches, World Heritage rainforests, world class surf destinations, local artisan produce and adventure.

Byron Bay is just another 30 km from Ballina

Day 7: Byron Bay - Brisbane
Estimated distance: 164km / 1 hour 50 minutes

Go for a yoga session at 8am organise by the hotel follow by a stroll around the hotel beautiful landscape before proceeding to the town for a breakfast. Do not forget to stop by the Byron Bay Lighthouse which has become an icon for Byron Bay and is a must for any visitor to Byron Bay. Construction started in 1899 when the site was leveled by Mitchell and King - contractors.
