Day 1 Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Miyazaki 宮崎

Hotel: Miyazaki Kanko Hotel or similar / Western room

Upon arrival at Miyazaki Airport, coach transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Buffet] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 3 Miyazaki – Nichinan – Kagoshima 宮崎 - 日南 - 鹿児

Hotel: Kagoshima Sun Royal Hotel or similar / Western room

After breakfast, transfer to Udo Jingu Shrine (鵜戸神宮). Set inside a cave along the cliff, the shrine overlooks the ocean and provides a spectacular view. Next, visit Sun Messe Nichinan(サンメッセ日南). Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, you will see 7 moai statues against a vibrant blue sky and ocean. These moai statues are the only replicas in the world, of the originals on Easter Island. After this, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch. Then, visit Aoshima (青島). A small island off the Miyazaki coast, it is connected to the mainland by a bridge and has white beaches and a subtropical jungle at its heart. A highlight here is the Oni no Sentakuita – also known as the Devil’s Washboard (鬼の洗濯板). The iconic landscape of Miyazaki is a geological phenomenon of rows of basalt rock that is only visible at low tide. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in. Dinner [Buffet] will be served at the hotel restaurant.

Day 4 Kagoshima – Sakurajima – Ibusuki 鹿児 - 桜島 - 指宿

This morning, transfer to Sakurajima by ferry and first visit the Lava Nagisa Park (ようがんなぎさこうえんあしゆ). One of Japan’s longest footbaths near the base of the active Sakurajima volcano, relieve your travel fatigue here while enjoying the view of Kinko Bay and Sakurajima. Next, visit Arimura Lava Observatory (有村溶岩展望所). Located along the lava field created by the eruption in 1946, get a clear view of the world famous active volcano and Kinko Bay. You can also hear roaring or explosive sounds and see smoke emerging from the crater up close. Take the ferry back to Kagoshima. Today, enjoy a Sushi Making Experience, which will be part of your lunch! After lunch, transfer to AEON Mall Kagoshima (イオン鹿児島店). Spend some time shopping at the 200 retailers of local and international brands before making our way to Ibusuki for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel. Don’t miss out trying the popular Sand Bath with healing properties!

Day 5 Ibusuki – Kumamoto 指宿 - 熊本

This morning, start your day at JR Nishi Oyama Station (西大山駅). It is the most western JR station in Japan. The unmanned staton is surrounded by rapeseed flowers and offers a spectacular view of Mt. Kaimon. Next, take the Shinkansen from Kagoshima Chuo Station to Kumamoto Station. Lunch will be under your own at Kagoshima Chuo Station. Upon arrival, coach transfer to Kumamoto city and visit Kumamoto Castle (熊本城), one of the three most famous castles in Japan. It houses a museum which contains artefacts from the Kato and Hosokawa clans, as well as detailed information on the castle’s remarkable history. At the end of the day, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6 Kumamoto – Yufuin – Beppu 熊本 - 湯布院 - 別府

After breakfast, you will visit the Daikanbo View Point (大観峰). Here, you will get the best 360-degree panoramic view of Aso, where you can see the Five Peaks of Aso and the Kuju Mountain Range. In the fall, you can experience Unkai, a sea of clouds covering the vast area. Next, transfer to Yufuin (湯布院) and have lunch at a local restaurant before enjoying some leisure time strolling the hot spring resort. Explore the plentiful art museums, cafes, boutiques and bathhouses Yufuin has to offer. Following that, transfer to Lake Kagurame (神楽女湖) ✿. One of the most famed spots in Kyushu, nearly 300,000 Japanese iris are in full bloom during the trip and are not to be missed. The purple flowers range from white to indigo and are best seen up close from the boardwalks throughout the fields. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in and dinner [Buffet].

Day 7 Beppu – Dazaifu – Fukuoka 別府 - 太宰府 - 福岡

This morning, start the morning at Beppu Jigoku Hell (別府地獄めぐり). It features 7 different hot springs such as the Umi-Jigoku was created by a volcanic explosion of Tsurumidake Mountain about 1200 years ago. It is famous and for its sea-blue cobalt blue hot spring water. This afternoon, your lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Dazaifu. After lunch, explore the city with one of Japan’s most important Shinto shrines – Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (太宰府天満宮). Popular amongst students who come to pray for good exam results, there are also museums, teahouses, landscaped gardens and a shopping area to be found here. Next, visit Hakozaki Shrine (筥崎宮) ✿. Famed as one of the three great shrines dedicated to the spirit of Emperor Ojin, the shrine grounds boasts a large garden that hosts an annual Ajisai Festival. In full bloom are 3,500 hydrangeas of approximately 100 different varieties. Finally, transfer to Fukuoka for hotel check in. The rest of the evening will be free at your own leisure and dinner will be under your own arrangement.

Day 8 Fukuoka 福岡

After breakfast this morning, step into Kama city which is located in-land area of Fukuoka. Enjoy a Hygge Experience in the forests of Kama! Hygge is defined as a warm atmosphere while enjoying the good things in life. This afternoon, a BBQ lunch will be prepared while you immerse yourself in the clear atmosphere of mountains, forests and fields by the bonfire. Thereafter, return back to the hotel where you will have free and easy time for the rest of your evening. Dinner will be under your own arrangement in Hakata city.
