Day 1 Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Aomori 青森

Hotel: Hotel Apple Land or similar / Japanese room

Upon arrival at Aomori Airport, coach transfer to the city and visit Tsuruno Maibashi Bridge (鶴の舞橋) and Fujimiko Park (富士見湖パーク). The bridge is Japan’s longest triple arch wooden bridge, spanning 300m and passes over the Tsugaru Fujimi Lake. It visually looks like a crane flying with Mt. Iwaki in the background and it is said that visitors who cross the bridge will have a long life. The lakeside is popular amongst locals and tourists alike as it holds seasonal events such as Cherry Blossom Festival and fireworks. Thereafter, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 3 Aomori – Hirosaki – Lake Towada – Oirase Gorge – Morioka 青森 - 弘前 - 十和田湖 - 奥入瀬渓流 - 盛岡

This morning, transfer to Hirosaki and start your day at the Neputamura Museum (ねぷた村) for the Tsugaru Shamisen Live Performance. The museum showcases Hirosaki’s famous festival, Neputa Matsuri that features large floats with painted screens of various themes, local handicrafts and the local shamisen instrument. The Tsugaru Shamisen is a traditional genre of music and instrument that is similar to the guitar. Originally performed on the streets, it has resulted in an intense and acrobatic playing style. Transfer to Lake Towada and have lunch [Kiritanpo Hotpot Set] at a local restaurant before heading for the Lake Towada Cruise (十和田湖遊覧船). Enjoy scenic cruising on Honshu’s largest caldera lake which was formed by powerful volcanic activity. You will disembark at Nenoko Pier and have a brief hike at Oirase Gorge (奥入瀬渓流). One of the most beautiful river valleys in Japan, the vibrant and fast flowing water extends over 14km from the calm Lake Towada. Said to have inspired painters and poets for centuries, the scenery seems to be straight out of fantasy film and has a healing atmosphere. Thereafter, transfer to Morioka for hotel check in. Along the way, we will stop for dinner [Wanko Soba] at a local restaurant.

Day 4 Morioka – Oshu – Sendai 盛岡 - 奥州 - 仙台

After breakfast, you will be visiting the Esashi Fujiwara Heritage Park (歴史公園えさし藤原の郷), a recreated city from the Heian Period with palatial red buildings, landscaped scenery, over 120 structures such as a replica of the Golden Pavilion of Chusonji Temple. Originally built for a television drama in 1993, it was then opened to the public and became a top tourist attraction in Iwate. After that, transfer to a local restaurant for lunch [Udon Japanese Set]. Next, visit Yakurai Garden (やくらいガーデン) ✿. The flower meadow sits at the foot of Mt. Yakurai, with over 400 types of plants cultivated, there is a variety of flowers blooming throughout the year. In June and July, the abundant roses are in full bloom! This evening, enjoy dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at a local restaurant before heading to the hotel for check in.

Day 5 Sendai – Zao – Bandai Atami Onsen 仙台 - 蔵王 - 磐梯熱海温泉

Hotel: Eirakukan / Hananoyu or similar / Japanese room

This morning, start your day at the Crater of Mt. Zao, Okama (御釜). Its name was given due to its resemblance with a traditional cooking pot. The colors of the crater lake changes according to the intensity of daylight and ranges from bright emerald, deep green and brilliant turquoise. After lunch [Hotpot Set] at a local restaurant, continue your journey to Miyagi Zao Fox Village (蔵王キツネ村). Over 100 foxes of 6 different types roam freely here. The main enclosure allows you to observe and walk amongst them up close, while the designated petting area lets you pet the foxes! Thereafter, transfer to Bandai Atami Onsen for hotel check in. Tonight, Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 6 Bandai Atami Onsen – Ouchijuku – Aizu Wakamatsu – Niigata 磐梯熱海温泉 - 大内宿 - 会津若松 - 新潟

Hotel: Hotel Nikko Niigata or similar / Western room

After breakfast, we will visit Ouchijuku (大内宿), a former post town during the Edo Period. The unpaved main street is lined with restored thick thatched roof buildings which now house a variety of shops, restaurants and small traditional Japanese inns, also known as minshuku. Next, transfer to Aizu Wakamatsu and first, enjoy your lunch [Wappameshi Set] at a local restaurant before visiting the Aizu Bukeyashiki Samurai Residence (会津武家屋敷). This is a reconstructed samurai mansion that served as the quarters for the most important and highest ranked samurai and his family, employees and servants. Thereafter, enjoy an Akabeko Painting Experience, a tradition that started in Aizu Wakamatsu city. The red cow is said to signify good health, strength and perseverance. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Western Course] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 7 Niigata – Numata – Minakami 新潟 - 沼田 - 水上

After breakfast this morning, start your day with a Sake Brewery Visit. Here in Niigata, there is an abundance of sake breweries, with 89 breweries and the highest production volume in Japan. The prefecture has been recognised for its most refined rice cultivation techniques and high quality snowmelt which is the secret to delicious sake. At the brewery, learn more about the tedious process and taste the different types of sake produced here. Next, enjoy your lunch [Hegi Soba Set] at a local restaurant before transferring to Tambara Lavender Park (たんばらラベンダーパーク) ✿. The largest lavender field in the Kanto area. There is a wide variety of lavenders and various flowers that bloom throughout the flowering season, so no matter when you visit you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then, head to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Buffet] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 8 Minakami – Tokyo 水上 - 東京

Hotel: Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba or similar / Western room

This morning, the fruit orchard awaits you! Enjoy Blueberry Picking, which is just in season! After which, transfer to Sano Premium Outlet (佐野プレミアムアウトレット). The complex is home to around 180 stores of renowned domestic and international brands. Lunch will be under your own here. Next, transfer to Gyotoku for Rice Field “Tambo” Art. In 2015, it was certified as the World’s Largest Rice Field Art, which spans about 2.8 hectares. The pictures and letters on paddy rice fields are made using colorful rice plants and are changed yearly. Finally, transfer to Tokyo city for hotel check in. The rest of the evening will be free and easy and dinner will be under your own arrangement.

Day 9 Tokyo – Singapore 東京 - 新加坡
