Philippine Eagle Center - a conservation facility for the critically endangered Philippine Eagle, the world’s largest eagle by length and wingspan. Standing 1 meter tall with a 2-meter wingspan, it is the national bird of the Philippines. Habitat loss due to deforestation is its biggest threat. Killing a Philippine eagle is a criminal offense, punishable by up to 12 years in prison and fines.
