ITINERARY
D1 SINGAPORE - CAIRO
Assemble at the airport and depart for Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
D2 CAIRO – HURGHADA
Arrive into Cairo and transfer to Hurghada, a beach resort city stretching some 40km along Egypt’s Red Sea.
D3 HURGHADA
Time to hop onto the Glass boat as we sail out to the Red Sea and you may do snorkeling if you would like to explore the coral reefs (do bring your swimming costume).
Later in the day, go for some exciting fun at the Sahara Desert on a jeep and tonight, enjoy the Bedouin dinner and do some star watching (dependent on weather conditions).
D4 HURGHADA – LUXOR ( NILE CRUISE )
Proceed to board the 5* Deluxe Nile River Cruise.
Be awe by the majestic Karnak Temple where you will get to witness the Avenue of Sphinxes and the Egyptian Obelisk.
Up next, Luxor Temple, the most significant religious center in ancient Egypt.
D5 LUXOR - EDFU (NILE CRUISE)
Witness the 2 massive stone statues, The Colossi of Memnon.
Spend some time and explore the Valley of Kings, a royal burial ground for pharaohs.
Get ready to visit a masterpiece of ancient architecture, Hatshepsut Temple.
Tonight, enjoy an Egyptian Dinner and Belly Dancing.
D6 EDFU - KOM OMBO - ASWAN (NILE CRUISE)
Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage to visit the beautiful and well-preserved temple which is dedicated to Horus, god of kingship and the sky, the Edfu Temple.
Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods, the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus and the Crocodile Museum.
D7 (NILE CRUISE) ASWAN
Abu Simbel (UNESCO World Heritage Site), travel by coach to see the twin temples of Abu Simbel originally carved out of mountainside in the 13th century and be impressed by these majestic temples, also one of the world's most breath-taking monuments.
Take a boat ride to Philae Temple, a complex located on an island in the reservoir of Aswan Low Dam.
View the High Dam, an embankment dam built across the Nile.
D8 ASWAN - CAIRO
Board a domestic flight to Cairo.
Enter into the Egyptian Museum where you will be able to witness the 2 mummies and many more artifacts.
Get the chance to understand how paper was created using the lotus plant at the Papyrus Factory.
Last stop, visit the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar and shop till you drop.
D9 CAIRO
This morning, travel to see the Saqqara and the Memphis where you will by then witness the 3 original pyramids.
Witness the largest Pyramids in Giza and not forgetting the Great Sphinx of Giza.
Go on a 1 hour ride on a camel.
Experience some unique essence found at the Perfume Factory.
D10 CAIRO
Explore one of the oldest churches in Egypt, the Hanging Church, which was built above the ruins of the Roman Fortress.
Visit the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church, also known as Abu Serga, one of the oldest Coptic Christian Churches in Egypt.
Enter into the St George Cathedral, a Greek Orthodox Church within the Babylon Fortress.
Enter into Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish temple in Cairo.
Visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and see the mummies of the 18 Kings and 4 Queens.
D11 CAIRO - SINGAPORE
Bid Cairo farewell and head to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
