HIGHLIGHTS
This itinerary provides a great short retreat away from the hustle and bustle of our daily grind. Not your usual South Korea itinerary, this trip covers places that are lesser explored by tourists, but popular amongst locals. A trip to downtown Seoul is a must for you to visit the usual shopping haunts and you can do that on your own with the flexible schedule given in Seoul.

ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive Incheon
Welcome to Korea! Upon arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to a local medical facility for your arrival PCR test (own expenses). After testing, rest and relax in your hotel until your test results are out.

Day 2 Incheon – Gangwon
After your PCR test clearance, today we will explore Incheon in-depth. Our exploration will be via a unique eco-friendly electric car tour around the Open Port Street of Incheon covering sights like Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village, Chinatown Incheon, Three Kingdoms Mural Street and Jjajangmyeon Museum.
In the late afternoon, make our way to High1 Ski Resort for the next 2 nights of nature getaway.

Day 3 Gangwon
After breakfast, go on a short trekking course around the resort compound. Dubbed the ‘Trekking by Anyone course (Trek Distance: 2.7 KM, Trek Duration: 2 hours), go on the snail forest path and the group forest, where you will be able to learn about the various wildflowers and vegetation of the highlands of Gangwon-do.
In the afternoon, enjoy a Meditation & Tea session where you take a deep look inside yourself through meditation and a traditional tea ceremony.

Day 4 Gangwon
Rest and relax in the morning before exploring the huge compound of the resort. Perhaps you would fancy a 4-hour relaxing trek in the afternoon (own expenses)? Named the ‘Human Healing Trekking’, meet the best unexplored scenery of the resort as you enjoy the sound of the wind covered forest. Be amazed by the calm the white birch forest brings and the peace that comes from the sound of nature (Trek Distance: 5.5 KM, Trek Duration: 4 hours).

Day 5 Gangwon – Seoul
Journey from Gangwon to Seoul for your Korean cooking class. Visit a traditional market to buy your cooking ingredients for your cooking session.
You will be transferred to a medical facility to take your departure PCR test (own expense) before returning back to your accommodation.

Day 6 Seoul

Day 7 Depart Seoul
Bid farewell to your time in Korea as you are transferred back to Incheon International Airport for your onward journey.

REMARKS
~ A deposit of 20% if required at the time of booking. Balance payment will be collected 60 days prior to departure.
~ This trip requires just minimum 2 travellers to depart.
~ Should you require a visa to enter South Korea, it is your responsibility to obtain such document before departure.
~ Please only book your air ticket to Incheon, South Korea when you have been informed to do so.
~ You are advised to wear appropriate hiking shoes for days that include hiking.
~ Because hiking requires certain level of cardio and stamina exertion, it is not suitable for members with chronic and/or acute disease. Please consider your physical condition before booking. Members must ensure they are medically and physically able to hike.
~ Trip grading is an indication on the difficulty of the activities included. Preparation and engaging in regular exercise to maintain good physical condition and active lifestyle prior to the trip will be most beneficial in ensuring you have full enjoyment of the trip. We are glad to discuss your concerns and answer your queries.
~ Our utmost priority is always the safety of the traveller. Therefore, the route and inclusion may be altered by the Local Guide due to (not limited to) bad weather, accommodation book out, local conditions, and/or other unexpected circumstances beyond control. Travel Wander and its Operator reserve the right to make changes necessary and there will be no refund should you decide to discontinue with the trip or event.
