Perched 900 meters above Paro Valley on a dramatic granite cliff, this iconic site feels like it’s been plucked straight from a fairytale. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche, the great spiritual master, flew to this sacred spot on the back of a tigress to meditate and subdue the valley’s demons. Feeling daring? You can even take a pony ride up the mountain (at your own expense) for an added touch of excitement. This unforgettable journey will leave you in awe!
