After breakfast, continue to the thermal city of Rotoru. Head to Te Puia and visit New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Step into the ancient Whakarewarewa Valley where geysers including the world-famous Pohutu Geyser, mud pools and boiling waters still put on a show after 40,000 years. This evening, enter Te Heketanga a Rangi or Heavenly Origins to enjoy Te Puia’s Te Po Indigenous Evening Experience and feast on food and culture, while enjoying the friendship of the indigenous people.

DAY 5: ROTORUA

This morning, consider a visit to Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, New Zealand’s most colourful geothermal attraction. Alternatively,

see Agrodome’s world-famous sheep show and go on an organic working farm tour. You may also visit Skyline Rotorua, from which

springs such as Polynesian Spa, Hells Gate or Manupirua Thermal Springs.
