ITINERARY

Day 1

SINGAPORE – CHRISTCHURCH

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Christchurch-the largest city in the South Island.

Day 2

INTERNATIONAL ANTARCTICA CENTRE – CHRISTCHURCH CITY TOUR – WILLOWBANK WILDLIFE RESERVE (Chinese L/D)

Welcome to Christchurch – the ‘Garden City’. Upon arrival, proceed to the International Antarctica Centre where you can learn more about the Great White Continent; experience the freezing weather and enjoy playing in the snow. Hop into the unique Hagglund ride to embark on a thrilling Antarctic Adventure. Next, commence on a Christchurch city tour which includes famous Cathedral Square, Canterbury University, Royal Botanic Garden and Hagley Park. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Ko Tane Cultural Show at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. Get this chance to view The Kiwis-bird of New Zealand in their natural habitat.

Day 3

CHRISTCHURCH – LAKE TEKAPO – LAKE PUKAKI – MT COOK NATIONAL PARK – CROMWELL FRUIT TASTING – QUEENSTOWN (B/Japanese Bento L/Chinese D)

This morning, travel across the Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo-the lovely turquoise glacial lake reflecting the surrounding mountains. Enroute, make a photostop at Farmer Corner’s Alpaca Farm and arrive at the simple stone Church of the Good Shephard by the lake’s edge that stands in harmony with its surroundings. Onwards to Lake Pukaki and visit High Country Salmon Farm for an opportunity to feed and taste fresh salmon sashimi. Proceed to Mt Cook National Park, where New Zealand’s highest mountain stands. If weather permits, you may wish to take an optional helicopter flight up to Tasman Glacier and experience landing on a sparkling white snowfield(own expense). Stop at Mrs Jones Fruit Orchard in Cromwell to have a chance for fruit-tasting as well as purchase seasonal fruits, nuts, and dried fruits before continuing our journey to Queenstown, nestled by Lake Wakatipu.

Day 4 QUEENSTOWN – FREE AT LEISURE (B)

The day is free at your own leisure where you can join a trip to the “8th Wonder of the World”- Milford Sound or explore the endless optional attractions

available such as jet boating, white water rafting, horse riding and much more.

Day 5

QUEENSTOWN – TSS EARNSLAW VINTAGE

STEAMSHIP CRUISE – WALTER PEAK FARM TOUR (B/Thai L)

This morning, visit Gibbston Valley Winery and explore New Zealand’s largest wine cave maturing hundreds of wine treasures in oak barrels. Enjoy an excursion in TSS Earnslaw Vintage Steamship, a grand old coal-fueled lady that has graced the waters of Lake Wakatipu since 1912 when it was first used to carry goods to remote settlements. Get a chance to view the vessel’s engine room and the historical displays. Arrive at Walter Peak Farm and experience New Zealand’s farming life around the beautiful lakeside garden and farmyards. There is ample opportunity to view farm animals. Highlights of farming experience are sheep shearing and working sheepdog demonstration. The remaining

day is free to explore other exciting activities that Queenstown has to offer.

Day 6 QUEENSTOWN – ARROWTOWN – LAKE DISTRICT MUSEUM – FOX GLACIER (B/Hotel D)

As you travel towards West Coast, stop at Arrowtown, a well-preserved gold mining settlement. Visit Lake District Museum, which houses unique variety of exhibits that shows harsh pioneering days of European and Chinese settlers and their exciting gold rush era of the 1800s. Next will be the Kawarau Bridge where you will have an opportunity to do a bungee jump from a height of 43m (own expense). It is the world’s first commercial bungy jump since November 1988. Depart to the Glacier Region. Travel along the shores of Lake Wanaka, the Haast Pass; gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue journey to West Coast, passing by the spectacular landscape of brooding mountains, native forest and surreal coastal formations to the icy glaciers region of Fox Glacier.

Day 7

FOX GLACIER – HOKITIKA – CHRISTCHURCH (B/Western Set L/Chinese D)

Begin with a scenic ride along the coast of Tasman Sea to Hokitika, formerly known as the ‘Wonder City of the South Hemisphere’. Visit the Glass-Blowing Factory and the Greenstone Factory, which showcases the greenstone with innovative displays.

You will have a chance to purchase some of these beautiful ornaments. Travel through the lush beech forest and past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps and back to Christchurch. Visit a Duty-Free shop that sells local products and many others.

Day 8 CHRISTCHURCH – SINGAPORE (B)

Day 8 CHRISTCHURCH – MATAMATA – ROTORUA (B/L/Chinese D)

Take a domestic flight to Rotorua which is also known as ‘The Thermal City’. Head towards to Matamata, where the Hobbiton Movie Set is located, to experience Middle earth magic at its best as featured in The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit films. Walk into the filming scene - the Green Dragon Inn and enjoy a local brew ginger beer. Next, proceed to TePuia Thermal Reserve where natural landscape of erupting geothermal activity, hot thermal springs and hot bubbling mud pools. In the evening, you may immerse yourself in the Polynesian Spa for a relaxing pleasure in their hot & natural thermal mineral spa (own expenses).

Day 9 ROTORUA – AUCKLAND (B/L)

This morning, transfer to Waitomo, where you will take in a spectacular Waitomo Glow-worm Cave. Take a boat trip and be amazed by the splendor limestone formations when you journey into the depths of these limestone caves as the boat glides silently through the starry wonderland of the glow-worm grotto. Thereafter, head to Auckland - the largest city in New Zealand and commerce on a Auckland City Tour. If time permits, stop at Mt Eden and Auckland Harbour Bridge for a spectacular scenic view of Auckland cityscape.

Day 10 AUCKLAND – SINGAPORE (B)
