ITINERARY

Day 1 Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Nagoya – Gujo – Takayama 名古屋 - 郡上 - 高山

Hotel: hotel around TAKAYAMA / Hotel Associa Takayama Resort / Tokyu Stay Hida-Takayama Musubi no Yu or similar / Western room

Meal: Meal on Board / L / D

Upon arrival at Nagoya Airport, coach transfer to Gujo and Experience Food Sample Making (食品サンプル作り). The replica food samples displayed outside restaurants are said to have originated from this city and to date, 60% of all such products sold in Japan are made here. After that, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [French Set]. After lunch, head to Kokin Denjuno Sato Field Museum (古今伝授の里フィールドミュージアム) ✿. The open-air museum features exhibits and themes on waka poetry and the traditional architecture was built with the elements of water, light and space in mind. A quaint spot for seasonal flora and fauna viewing, such as cherry blossoms, peonies and autumn leaves. At the end of the day, transfer to Takayama for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Set or Pre-Fix Style (Main+half buffet)] at the hotel.

** GRP 2 - Kokin Denjuno Sato Field Museum will be closed on Tuesday. Instead, we will visit Seseragi Road, Michinoeki Meiho and Surusumi Park for autumn leaves viewing.

Day 3 Takayama – Shirakawago – Kaga Onsen 高山 - 白川郷 - 加賀温泉

Hotel: Kaga Hyakumanngoku / Rurikoh or similar / Japanese room

Meal: B / L / D

After breakfast, we will proceed to Takayama Morning Market (朝市) and Takayama Old Town (高山旧市街). The market has stands that sell local crafts, snacks and farm produce such as vegetables, pickles and flowers. Takayama’s old town brings visitors back to the Edo period with its preserved buildings, sake breweries and houses. Several of which you can enter and view traditional household goods and art exhibited. After that, transfer to Shirakawa and lunch [Japanese Set] at a local restaurant. After lunch, stroll around on your own at Shirakawago Village (白川郷). Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995, they are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Finally, transfer to Kaga Onsen town for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 4 Kaga Onsen – Kanazawa – Unazuki Onsen/Toyama 加賀温泉 - 金沢 - 宇奈月温泉/富山

Hotel: Grandvrio Hotel Unazuki Onsen / ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama or similar / R.O.H.

After breakfast, transfer to Kanazawa and visit Kenrokuen Japanese Garden (兼六園), one of Japan’s three most beautiful Japanese garden. Located on the heights of the central part of Kanazawa and next to Kanazawa Castle. After lunch [Jibuni Japanese Course] at a local restaurant, proceed to Kurobe Gorge (黒部峡谷) ✿. The main attraction of the gorge is the Kurobe Gorge Train, a sightseeing train originally built to aid the construction of the Kurobe Dam. Today the small trains operate along a winding, 20-kilometer stretch between Unazuki and Keyakidaira stations. The exciting 80-minute journey leads across more than 20 bridges and through over 40 tunnels and offers visitors panoramic views of the gorge below. At the end of the day, transfer back to Unazuki Onsen for the hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Buffet] at the hotel.

Day 5 Unazuki Onsen/Toyama – Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route – Omachi Onsen 宇奈月温泉/富山 - 立山黒部アルペンルート - お待ち温泉

Hotel: Tateyama Prince Hotel / Ryokusuitei Keisui / Kurobe Kanko Hotel or similar / Japanese room

Meal: B / L / D

After breakfast, transfer to Tateyama and start the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (立山黒部アルペンルート) ✿. Whole route approximately about 8 - 9hrs Lunch [White Shrimp Japanese Set] at a local restaurant. Thereafter, transfer to Omachi Onsen for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 6 Omachi Onsen – Matsukawa – Kamisuwa/Yatsugatake お待ち温泉 - 松川 - 上諏訪/八ヶ岳

Hotel: Beniya / Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa or similar / Japanese Western room or R.O.H.

Meal: B / L / D

This morning, transfer to Matsukawa, a well-known fruit-picking destination with fruit farming traditions that go back over 100 years. Here, Experience Fruit Picking, a tour of the grounds and brewery. Today’s unique Full Course lunch will be served here. A 7-course meal with locally sourced ingredients Matsukawa is a treasure trove for fresh fruit, organic vegetables, freshwater fish and poultry. The menu is produced by a French chef and you will be dining under the fruit trees. We will be spending the day at the orchard before transferring to Kamisuwa for hotel check-in. Tonight you will be having dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 7 Kamisuwa/Yatsugatake – Kofu – Tokyo 上諏訪/八ヶ岳 - 甲府 - 東京

Hotel: Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba or similar / Western room

After breakfast, transfer to Kofu and visit Shosenkyo Gorge (御嶽昇仙峡) ✿. One of Japan’[s most beautiful gorges, it is part of the Chichibu Tama Kai National Park that covers more than 1250km in Yamanashi, Saitama, Nagano and Tokyo. Hike along the Arakawa River from the Nagatoro Bridge to Sengataki Waterfall for some beautiful scenery of the mountains, river and the narrow valley. After that, lunch [Japanese Set] is served at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the Kawaguchiko Music Forest (河口湖オルゴールの森), a small theme park and museum for music instruments. Here, there are displays of antique music boxes, automatic musical instruments and a concert hall where classical musicians from around the world perform. The outdoor park encloses European-style gardens with good views of Mt. Fuji. Thereafter, transfer to Tokyo city for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner at your own expense during free & easy time in Tokyo city.

Day 8 Tokyo – Singapore 東京 - 新加坡
