ITINERARY
D1 SINGAPORE - ULAANBAATAR
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and begin your flight to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia via Incheon.
D2 ULAANBAATAR
Upon arrival, met by our representative and start the day with an Ulaanbaatar sightseeing tour visit National Museum of Mongolia. The historical collection is subdivided into 3 are archaeological medieval history of Mongolia and modern historical objects and photography, recordings, and documents. After dinner transfer to check in hotel and rest.
D3 ULAANBAATAR – ELSEN TASARKHAI – KARAKORUM
Depart from Ulaanbaatar in the morning by bus for Karakorum, ancient city of the Mongol Empire and the Erdenezuu Monastery. Drive to Elsen Tasarkhai, also name as mini Gobi, sand dunes which stretch from the Tuv, Uvurkhan gai, and Buigan provinces all the way west to become part of of the Khugnu Khan mountain range. Experience Camel riding over the dunes. After lunch, proceed visit Karakorum Museum, the museum contains artifacts from the Hunnu period, Liao dynasty, the Uyghur Khaganate, the Mongol Empire and Rouran Khaga-nate.
D4 KARAKORUM – ELSEN TASARKHAI
After breakfast, proceed to visit Erdene Zuu, one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia. Next, visit The Turtle Rock, a gigantic rock shaped and carved like a turtle by the forces of wind and rain, located just off the main road into the park. Often referred to as the Switzerland of Mongolia, this area is an excellent spot for horse or camel riding, as well as hiking around and inside the rock. From Khaadiin Khad Hill, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Orkhon River Valley.
D5 ELSEN TASARKHAI – NOMADIC HOME VISIT – ULAANBAATAR
After breakfast, procced to Nomadic Home Visit, the yurts where nomads lived and see how they live now. A vivid demonstration of the everyday life of a traditional Mongolian family and herders, showcasing authentic activities that tourists can experience. The scene includes herders making dairy products such as yogurt, cheese, and fermented mare's milk, with tourists invited to taste these delicacies. Real-life demonstrations of the movement of a Mongolian herder family on the move with ox carts and camel freight, transporting goods across the vast steppe. The display also includes the milking of yaks, sheep, goats, and mares, where visitors can observe and interact with the herders. Additionally, there is a hands-on demonstration of traditional Mongolian felt making, showing the process of turning raw wool into felt for use in ger yurt construction, as well as the intricate art of tanning leather for making boots and saddles. The atmosphere is rustic, immersive, and interactive, allowing tourists to fully engage with the traditional lifestyle of Mongolian herders. Thereafter, drive to the Chinggis Khaani Khuree, also known as the Chingisiin Khuree tourist camp. The camp features costumes, props, and felt bags used in the film Genghis Khan. Transfer to Ulaanbaatar for your overnight stay.
D6 ULAANBAATAR – TERELJ NATIONAL PARK
This morning, proceed visit Chinggis Khan Statue Complex, the largest equestrian statue of Genghis Khan. Visit the complex museum and enjoy a panoramic view over Mongolian steppe from the statue's horse mane. Thereafter, drive to Terelj National Park. Upon arrival, head to the Ariyapal Meditation Temple, located about a 30-minute walk up the hills, offering a phenomenal view of the valley. Tonight, enjoy Mongolian stone-roasted lamb, one of the oldest meals in Mongolia. The method is unique and very tender and delicious. It has the taste of barbecue and stew. According to the old people, stone-roasted lamb is the ancestor of the ancient Mongolian Khan and One of the palace delicacies enjoyed by princes and nobles.
D7 TERELJ NATIONAL PARK – ULAANBAATAR
After breakfast, proceed visit the Ganden Monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist temple with a history of more than 200 years, which is the largest temple in Mongolia and famous for the largest bronze Buddha in the world. The Buddha statue stands at 28 meters tall, is fully gilded, and encrusted with numerous jewels. Its grandeur and splendor make it a national treasure of Mongolia. Afterward, visit Sukhbaatar Square, a site for major state ceremonies, parades (such as those honoring Mongolian State Flag Day or the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers), cultural events, concerts, and exhibitions. Visiting heads of state often pay their respects in front of the statue of Sukhbaatar. Next, visit Mini-Naadam. Naadam Festival consists of the Three Manly Games, namely, wrestling, archery, horse racing which Mongolian nomads have practiced for thousands of years. Transfer to Ulaanbaatar for your overnight stay.
D8 ULAANBAATAR CITY
Today, proceed with the Ulaanbaatar City Shopping Tour at the Souvenir Shop, which offers handmade Mongolian musical instruments. Next, continue shopping at the Galleria Ulaanbaatar Cashmere Outlet, the world's largest cashmere store, featuring an exquisite selection of luxurious cashmere garments, coats, suits, and accessories. Lastly, end your shopping at one of the Local Supermarkets to experience local lifestyle.
D9 ULAANBAATAR – INCHEON
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Incheon. Upon arrival, proceed for dinner and end of the day at Chinatown Street, discover the living history of the Chinese in Korea. Chinatown is a representative tourist destination in Incheon, full of exotic foods and attractions, but it is still a residential area where second and third generation immigrants are living. Unlike Chinatowns in other cities where the presence of the Korean Chinese is dominant, Chinatown in Incheon, with a longer history, has become a popular day trip destination crowded with tourists from different regions.
D10 INCHEON – SINGAPORE
