ITINERARY
DAY 1: SINGAPORE - ZURICH
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Zurich.
Note
If you are flying by Singapore Airlines, you will assemble at the airport on the night of Day 1. However, the flight only departs after midnight.
DAY 2: ZURICH - BIEL - GENEVA
Highlights: La Cité du Temps, Cailler-Nestle chocolate factory
Welcome to Switzerland, land of clocks, chocolates and indispensable Swiss army knives. Begin your trip with a scenic drive to Biel, famous for watchmaking, and home to Rolex, Omega and Swatch among other famous makers.
Our first stop will be La Cité du Temps, where you will get to visit and explore two different World of watchmaking represented in two museums, Omega Museum and Planet Swatch. Then, followed by a visit to Cailler-Nestlechocolate factory, one of the oldest and famous chocolate factories in Switzerland, and enjoy a chocolate-tasting session. Transfer to Geneva for your overnight stay.
DAY 3: GENEVA - LAUSANNE - VEVEY - MONTREUX
Highlights: Harbour, Jet d’eau, Flower Clock, United Nations Building, International Committee of the Red Cross, Olympic Museum, Chaplin’s World Geneva, the 2nd-largest city in Switzerland by population size, but holds more than its weight as the city where international bodies such as World Health Organization and International Labour Organization are headquartered.
This morning, head for the city’s most famous landmarks, namely the harbour, magnificent Jet d’eau, the highest fountain in the world, and Flower Clock. True citizen of the world that you are, make stops at landmarks such as United Nations Building and International Committee of the Red Cross. Then, proceed to Lausanne, home to theInternational Olympic Committee headquarters. Make a photo stop at the famous Olympic Museum. Next, head to Vevey, a charming Swiss town on Lake Geneva, and visit Chaplin’s World, an entertaining museum which enables guests to discover Charlie Chaplin, the man and the artist. The museum offers entertainment and a cultural experience to the general public as well as a “cult site” for movie lovers and fans of his Little Tramp character. This evening, adjourn to beautiful Montreux, Switzerland’s modern resort city on Lake Geneva, beloved by locals and tourists alike for its vibrancy and scenic lakeside splendour.
DAY 4: MONTREUX - MARTIGNY - SIGRISWIL - ISELTWALD - INTERLAKEN
Highlights: Chillon Castle, Barryland, Sigriswil Panorama Bridge, Lake Brienz
After breakfast, visit the fabled Chillon Castle, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the region that dates back to the 11th century. With its rugged mountainous setting, this castle houses some of the most impressive relics of Switzerland’s past and consists of 100 independent buildings that were gradually connected through the ages. A vision of peace and majesty, you will see why this castle has inspired poets such as Lord Byron. Next travel to Martigny to visit the Barryland, where you can get to see the world-famous St Bernard hospice dogs and enjoy a tour about the history of the legendary of these Saint Bernard dogs from the Great Saint Bernard. Next, proceed to Sigriswil Panorama Bridge, this iconic pedestrian bridge is between Thun and Interlaken in Switzerland. The 340 m long suspension bridge also offers a panoramic view of Lake Thun against the Bernese Alps. Continue our journey to Iseltwald, one of Switzerland’s gems. Located on Lake Thun’s southern shores, it is like a fairy-tale village surrounded by the Swiss Alps. Take a leisure walk along the picturesque Lake Brienz, this is also one of the famous attractions in the popular K-drama, Crash Landing on You. Then, drive to Interlaken, where you can catch gorgeous
views of Jungfrau Mountain.
DAY 5: INTERLAKEN
Today, spend the morning at leisure to revel in this spellbinding resort town. Alternatively, you may choose to take an optional journey to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe at your own expense.
DAY 6: INTERLAKEN - BERN - EMMENTAL - LUCERNE
Highlights: Clock Tower, Bern Bear Park, Cheese Factory, Kambly Experience This morning, enjoy a scenic drive to Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Proceed to Bahnhofplatz and commence your tour of the city. Keep your eyes peered for the 16th-century astronomical Clock Tower with its ornate decorations. A short walk away, you will find house No. 49, once Albert Einstein’s home where he had written the groundbreaking “Theory of Relativity” in 1905. Not to be missed is a visit to the iconic bear pit, dedicated to the bear which is the protagonist of Bern’s coat of arms. Next, travel to Emmental, famed for its cheese, to visit a cheese factory and enjoy some cheese tasting. Then, followed by a visit to Kambly Experience to discover the secrets of the art of fine biscuit making. Continue to the picturesque township of Lucerne. Tonight, savour a Swiss combo fondue dinner of cheese, meat and chocolate.

In the event if Kambly Experience is not available, it will be replaced with a chocolate making session at Cailler-Nestle chocolate factory
DAY 7: LUCERNE
Highlights: Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument
After breakfast, embark on a walking tour to the famous Chapel Bridge and the stirring Lion Monument, carved from a limestone cliff in memory to the Swiss guards that died defending the French King. Thereafter, you may opt to while the day away with shopping. Luxury brands, watches, music boxes, famous Swiss chocolates and more, there’s (almost) something for everyone. You may also choose to take an optional excursion to the top of Mt Titlis at your own expense.
DAY 8: LUCERNE - SCHWYZ - TITISEE - ZURICH
Highlights: Stoos Funicular, Titisee, Cuckoo Clock Centre
Today, continue to Schwyz and enjoy a ride on the world’s steepest funicular up to Stoos. The cabins of the funicular are unique with a gradient of up to 110 percent (47 degrees), but the standing platform remains perfectly level at all times, making the ride very comfortable. This is a technical wonder, which makes the trip a one-of-a-kind experience. Thereafter, cross the border to Germany and take a scenic drive through Black Forest, the largest forest in the country. Then, adjourn to the tourist resort township of Titisee, home to Germany’s largest cuckoo clock centre. You will be pleased to learn that you can tuck in to an original Black Forest dinner comprising German pork knuckles, sausages and the iconic Black Forest cake. Thereafter, proceed to Zurich for your overnight stay.
DAY 9: ZURICH - SINGAPORE
Spend the morning at leisure, and perhaps take some parting shots of Zurich before you transfer to the airport foryour flight home.
