ITINERARY

DAY 1 SINGAPORE  ATHENS

Assemble at the airport for your flight to the capital of Greece, Athens – one of the oldest cities in the world.

DAY 2 ATHENS (LOCAL D)

Upon arrival, embark on a half day city tour to see Syntagma Square Constitution Square), the House of Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - dedicated to those who sacrificed themselves in war times. You may have a chance to see the guardchanging ceremony. Continue to view the Athens

Academy, the University and National Library.

Afterwards, enter the Pan Athenaic Olympian Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games held in 1896.

DAY 3 ATHENS - MYKONOS (B / BBQ SEAFOOD L)

After breakfast, transfer to the port for your ferryboat to Mykonos. Filled with beautiful whitewashed houses against endless stretches of golden sands and dazzling shades of blue and turquoise water, it’s no wonder it earned its name as “The Island of the Winds”. Enjoy this afternoon at leisure or participate in an optional tour filled with windmills, churches and beaches at sunset.

DAY 4 MYKONOS - SANTORINI (B)

In the afternoon, transfer to the port for your speedboat to Santorini and be captivated by its extraordinary beauty of white villages and blue-domed churches reflected in deep blue water and a gorgeous red sunset behind purple hills. Santorini formed its current geological caldera after an enormous volcanic explosion, creating its current unparalled panaroma.

DAY 5 SANTORINI (B)

Today, you are at leisure to explore on your own or participate in an optional tour to the city centre - Fira.

Positioned atop the main island on the top of the cliff, be prepared for a bird's eye view of the beautiful coastline of The Aegean Sea. Then, take a stroll amongst the many exquisite streets of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. End the day at the little town of Oia and be mesmerized by the beautiful sunset for an experience you'll never forget.

DAY 6 SANTORINI – CAPE SOUNIO – ATHENS (B / GREEK D & FOLK DANCE)

Bid farewell to Santorini and return to Athens by speedboat. Upon arrival, travel south along the coastal road via the beautiful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza (Saronic Gulf) to Cape Sounion, the most southern point of Attica. Be awed by the marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon, built by the Ancient Greeks for the sole purpose of guarding The Aegean Sea. This evening, prepare yourselves for an exclusive Athens night tour and enjoy some free time at the old district town of Plaka before proceeding for dinner in a local Greek tavern with folk music and dancers.

DAY 7 ATHENS – DELPHI – KALAMBAKA (B / CHINESE L / LOCAL D)

After breakfast, depart for Delphi via the town of Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Visit the archaeological site of Delphi and see the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Treasury of the Athenians. This evening, overnight in Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora.

DAY 8 KALAMBAKA – ATHENS (B/ LOCAL L / CHINESE D)

Visit the monastries of Meteora which contains priceless historical and religious treasures suspended between earth and sky on top of huge granite rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae and see the archaeological site of the Temple of the Olympian Zeus, once the largest temple in Greece and Hadrian’s Arch. Continue to the Acropolis and visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens - the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”- the Parthenon.

DAY 9 ATHENS - SINGAPORE (B)

Free at leisure till transfer to the airport for our flight.
